Why are games good for learning? [Infographic] – The Wired Homeschool

Games are fun and they can be educational. Even games that aren’t geared towards education can benefit people. Here are some facts from the infographic below:

“A study on surgeons showed that those who played games were 27% faster at advanced surgical procedures and made 37% fewer errors than those who didn’t.”

Whoa! When looking for a surgeon ask him or her how often they play Call of Duty.

Hand-eye coordination is need for some jobs so exposing our kids to games that require good hand-eye coordination could improve their job skills. Guess you don’t need to make sure all the games on your kids’ iPad are educational.
