What is a Wired Homeschool? – WHS 1

In this inaugural episode I talk a little bit about myself, why our family homeschools, and discuss why I’m creating this podcast.
Why iPad (and tablets in general) will succeed

What is a Wired Homeschool?

A wired homeschool is any homeschool that seeks to leverage technology to improve upon their homeschooling experience. Maybe you use the computer as a way to provide the primary instruction for your children or just as tool to enhance your homeschooling.

When will episodes be released?

This is a weekly, topical podcast. As far as length is concerned, each episode will be between 10 and 12 minutes. Hopefully I can provide you with clear, concise, and complete information within that time limit. Show notes will be much more prolific than on my other podcasts.

What topics will you cover in the podcast?

I’ll cover topics such as:

  • Online security
  • Social media
  • Purchasing computers
  • Cell phones and smart phones
  • Online resources

and more!

Whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been at it for years there’s something here for you and your family.
