Dash and Dot Pick the Super Bowl 53 Winner

For the past four years, my kids and I have programmed Dash and Dot to randomly pick the Super Bowl winner.

Last year, they picked the Eagles. Who will they pick this year and will their prediction be correct?

You can watch the previous years’ predictions in the playlist below.

What other things could we do with Dash and Dot?

Robotics Super Bowl Tradition

For the last 3 years, my kids and I have done a little programming project before the Super Bowl.

We program Dash and Dot by Wonder Workshop to choose the winner of the Big Game

We have a lot of fun coming up with ideas and this year instead of spinning around in a circle, I challenged them to do a little bit more.

Can Dash and Dot Pick the Super Bowl Winner?

Last year we received Dash and Dot to review. This past year has been a fun year of coding with these two adorable robots from Wonder Workshop. We’re hoping this year that they picked the Super Bowl winner.

Accessories used in this video were the mallet from the xylophone and the smartphone mount. Programming was done in Blockly with an iPad Mini.

If you want to get started programming with Dash and Dot I recommend the Wonder Pack. It comes with all of the accessories used in this video and more.

Look for my one year review of Dash and Dot in an upcoming podcast.

Dash the Robot Learns to Write

My kids have been experimenting a lot with Dash and Dot, the two cute robots from Wonder Workshop. One of the things my oldest daughter has been working on is getting Dash to write the word “Dot”.

After a solid hour of working with Blockly and a lot of trial and error she finally did it!

It was a proud daddy moment!
